Text Box: The church was planted by a Maltese-American Pastor Joseph Mifsud and his wife Jenny in March 1985. The congregation used to meet in rented premises at the Belleair Lounge in St. Andrews for around 9 years until 1994. After much opposition and hard work we obtained a building permit to start a church building project. Some funds were donated by some American Baptist Churches to purchase a plot of land in Gzira. Most of the work on the outside of the building was completed in 1993. Then followed 9 hectic months, and with very limited funds, we tiled the floor, put some doors and windows and painted the walls. Praise the Lord! On the 14th April 1994 we held our first service in the church building. Since that time we have continued to improve the interior of the building, as funds permit. We thank God for His love, His protection and His manifold blessings
